Day 1: Arrival Kigali

On arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be welcomed by an Advantage Holidays representative who will transfer you to the Hotel and assist you at check in.

Day 2: Nyungwe Forest National Park

After breakfast at the hotel, check out and transfer to Kigali for flight to Kamembe.

Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your lodge.

Lunch will be served at the hotel before you head out for a walk.

After breakfast, pick up and transfer to the airport for the flight to Kamembe. Met and transferred to Nyungwe Top View Hill Hotel / One and Only Nyungwe House for 3 nights. After lunch at the lodge take an afternoon nature walk around the local area. Dinner and overnight at the lodge (B,L,D).

Day 3: Nyungwe Forest

Spend the day at Nyungwe Forest National park. After breakfast transfer to the park for half day guided trek in the park. You will come across primates like chimpanzee, monkeys and other wildlife.

Return to the lodge for lunch. Later visit a local village for cultural experience.

Day 4: Nyungwe Forest

Another day in Nyungwe.

Today you will have a day at leisure with a choice of extra activities which you can book on ground or let our experts book for you before you arrive.

Day 5: Nyungwe- Kigali- Volcanoes National Park

After breakfast, pick up and transfer to the airport for the flight back to Kigali where you will be met by your safari guide in 4 x 4 safari vehicle and drive to your hotel in Vilcanoes National Park.

Day 6: Volcanoes National Park – Gorilla Experience

Today you will have a rare opportunity to observe the famous Rwandan mountain gorillas (subject to gorilla permits being available). Tracking the gorillas through the forested slopes of the Virungas is a magical experience.

 If you are lucky you can get to the gorillas, spend an hour with them, and be back at the base in time for a late lunch at your lodge. Some gorilla families, however, are more elusive, and tracking can take a full day, especially when it is wet and muddy so get prepared for this exciting but sometimes challenging experience.

If time allows you may choose from a variety of activities at extra cost. Dinner and Overnight at your lodge.

Day 7: Depart

After breakfast, check out and drive to Kigali. Drop off at the airport for your flight back home.
